Since its inception in 1975, Asolo has gained an important worldwide leadership position in producing technical mountaineering shoes. The product range covers footwear from the most technical alpine demands to the more relaxed leisure activities line, permitting Asolo to be one of the few companies in the world to completely cover the outdoor area.
Asolo’s footwear collections include products dedicated to technical alpinism, hiking and trekking.  How many of you remember the SCOUT? We invented the first lightweight and comfortable trekking shoe. Materials: Nylon, leather and the revolutionary Asoflex system, a new way to “live” the mountain. This was in the 1970s.

1980s: AFS system is born.
The first shoe created for professional alpinists with a single moulded structure injected with various thermo-plastic materials. Unchangeable, resilient, lightweight, and adaptable. Asolo wins the “Golden Compas” award from the Industrial design Association.

1990s: Research continues.
In collaboration with a prestigious American institute, we created GLOBALINE, inspired from biomechanics; the most natural partnership between feet and shoes.

2000s: Technologies combined with design.
Awarded by a prestigious American magazine “The Best Shoe Of The Year” in the Backpacking Category. New technologies developed: Duo Asoflex, Asosorb, Micro Pulley System.
