A wonderful new paddling activity exists in the Helena community for, young in body and spirit, middle age paddlers. Local middle age paddlers (also includes a group of senior age paddlers) are getting together on a weekly basis to enjoy the variety of flat-water paddling opportunities right here in the Helena Valley.
This fun-loving group of middle age paddlers (also includes a group of senior age paddlers) enjoys all aspects of moderate flat-water paddling. We enjoy steady, easy endurance pace with the goal of developing endurance fitness and comfort in open water environments. Our intent is to find interested paddlers, who have basic paddling skills and an adventuresome spirit. We are interested in exploring longer distance flat water paddling day trips and possible overnight outings. We are an energetic group and love sharing experience and perspective on the beauty of flat-water paddling in Montana.
Our group consists of members who have basic paddle skills and a basic knowledge of how to paddle safely in open flat water. Our activities continue to promote the enhancement of skills and knowledge of open water paddling and the ability to build confidence on a progressive level.
