The Base Camp has been an early and consistent partner of the Helena Education Foundation. From funding for Carnival Classic, to putting together cross country ski packages for a Great Ideas Grant at CHS, the Base Camp has been eager to support Helena schools . Tim Lynch, general manager, has also donated his time to serve on the Great Ideas Grants committee and now serves as an HEF board member. Hitting the trails for a Mother's Day hike!

Don, Sarah and Olivia took a dayhike up the Lake Fork trail south of Red Lodge. Trail conditions were decent, with patches of slushy snow on the trail and a good amount of puddles and mud to go around.
